Team Leader – IT Sales | US Shift

Job Title: Team Leader – IT Sales
Department: Sales
Shift: US Shift / Night Shift (8 pm - 5am)

Reports To: Business Head

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and target-driven Team Leader – IT Sales to lead our sales team in selling custom websites, mobile applications, e-commerce solutions, and other IT services to clients in the US market.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the sales team, driving revenue, improving lead conversion, handling key clients, and ensuring the team consistently achieves its sales targets.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in IT/Software Sales, Website Sales, Mobile App Sales, Inside Sales, International Sales, and Team Management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, motivate, and mentor a team of IT Sales Executives / Business Development Executives.
Drive sales of:
Website Development
E-commerce Website Development
Mobile Application Development
Custom Software Development
Web Applications
UI/UX Services
Digital/IT Solutions
Maintenance & Support Services
Manage and convert leads generated through website inquiries, calls, email campaigns, digital marketing, and other sources.
Understand client requirements and coordinate with the technical/pre-sales team to propose suitable solutions.
Conduct sales calls, presentations, product/service demonstrations, and negotiations with US clients.
Monitor the complete sales cycle from lead generation → qualification → requirement gathering → proposal → negotiation → closure → handover.
Ensure timely follow-up with prospects and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
Set daily, weekly, and monthly targets for team members and track achievement.
Conduct daily sales huddles, pipeline reviews, and performance meetings.
Monitor key sales metrics such as calls, meetings, proposals, follow-ups, conversions, revenue, and average deal value.
Coach team members on sales techniques, objection handling, negotiation, and closing.
Assist sales executives in handling difficult objections and closing high-value deals.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional IT services.
Maintain accurate lead and sales information in the CRM.
Prepare and share sales performance reports with management.
Work closely with Project Management, Development, Design, and Customer Support teams to ensure smooth client handover.
Ensure excellent customer experience throughout the sales process.
Identify market trends, competitor offerings, and new opportunities in the US IT services market.
Take ownership of team revenue and ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly targets.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Commerce, or a related field preferred.
3 years of experience in IT/Software Sales, Website Sales, Mobile App Sales, or IT Services Sales.
Prior experience managing or leading a sales team is strongly preferred.
Experience selling technology solutions to US/international clients will be an advantage.
Strong understanding of website and mobile application development services.
Ability to understand client requirements and communicate technical solutions in simple business terms.
Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation, objection-handling, presentation, and closing skills.
Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Experience working with CRM and sales reporting tools.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-management abilities.
Comfortable working in a US shift/night shift.
