Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive business growth and expand our customer base in Indore and nearby markets.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, generating leads, achieving sales targets, managing the sales pipeline, and promoting the company's EV charging solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong B2B sales and business development experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to independently develop new markets and business opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop Business & Generate New Leads
→ Develop and execute business development strategies for Indore and nearby markets. Identify new customers, industries, projects, fleet operators, corporates, institutions, and commercial establishments through market research, cold calling, field visits, networking, references, and other lead-generation channels.

2. Build Customer Relationships & Conduct Meetings
→ Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. Conduct customer meetings, product presentations, demonstrations, and site visits to understand their EV charging requirements and business needs.

3. Promote EV Charging Products & Provide Solutions
→ Promote the company's AC & DC EV Chargers, EV Charging Stations, Batteries, Controllers, and related solutions. Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the Technical/Engineering team to recommend suitable technical and commercial solutions.

4. Manage Quotations, Proposals & Sales Pipeline
→ Coordinate with Sales Operations and Technical teams to prepare quotations, commercial proposals, presentations, and project proposals. Maintain an updated sales pipeline covering leads, opportunities, quotations, negotiations, and expected closures.

5. Follow Up, Negotiate & Close Sales
→ Conduct regular follow-ups with customers, handle queries and objections, negotiate pricing and commercial terms within company policies, and convert qualified opportunities into confirmed orders while maintaining profitability.

6. Achieve Sales Targets & Develop B2B Business
→ Take ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Develop B2B, corporate, institutional, fleet, commercial, and infrastructure business opportunities and focus on achieving assigned revenue goals.

7. Develop Dealers, Distributors & Strategic Partnerships
→ Identify and develop dealers, distributors, installers, EPC partners, EV manufacturers, charging point operators, electrical contractors, real estate developers, and other strategic partners to expand market reach and generate new business.

8. Coordinate Order Execution, Payments & After-Sales Support
→ Coordinate with Sales Operations, Production, Dispatch, Accounts, Technical, and Service teams for smooth order processing, delivery, installation, payment collection, commissioning, warranty, and after-sales support.

9. Monitor Market, Projects & Competitor Activities
→ Track market trends, competitor products and pricing, upcoming EV charging projects, customer requirements, and industry developments. Build relationships with decision-makers, consultants, contractors, developers, and procurement teams to identify new opportunities.

10. Reporting, Market Visits & Business Growth
→ Conduct regular market visits across Indore and nearby areas, participate in exhibitions and networking activities, maintain CRM/Excel sales data, prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports, identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and implement strategies to improve lead conversion, revenue, and overall business growth.

Required Sales & Business Development Skills:

Strong B2B Sales and Business Development skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation and convincing abilities.
Good knowledge of lead generation and sales conversion.
Ability to develop new markets and customer networks.
Strong customer relationship management skills.
Good knowledge of CRM and sales pipeline management.
Ability to prepare sales reports, proposals, and presentations.
Strong follow-up and closing skills.
Good market research and competitor analysis skills.
Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
Ability to work independently and manage field sales activities.
Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Willingness to travel for customer meetings and business development activities.

Qualification & Experience:

Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales / Marketing / Business Administration will be preferred.
3–7 years of relevant experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Corporate Sales, or related fields.
Experience in EV, automotive, electrical equipment, renewable energy, charging infrastructure, or technology industry will be preferred.
Candidates with proven experience in achieving sales targets and developing new business will be preferred.
Experience in handling dealers, distributors, corporate clients, or channel partners will be an advantage.
