Job Summary
CIO Business Management Team: Job Description for TBM Reporting & Governance Position Overview This position would support the CIO Business Management team as an individual contributor focused on delivering comprehensive reporting and insights (50%), creating service governance frameworks (30%), and support TBM operations (20%). The role requires a seasoned professional who can independently build service governance framework, produce executive-level analytics, ensure data integrity across multiple platforms (Apptio, ServiceNow, Power BI/Tableau), and having developed Service Governance Framework in other organizations. This person must hit the ground running in a complex, multi-stakeholder financial services environment, serving audiences ranging from C-suite executives to technical teams. Core Responsibilities Management Reporting & Insights (50% - PRIMARY FOCUS) • Executive Reporting: Implement framework and structure for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for CIO, C-suite, IT leadership, business units • Multi-level Dashboards: Develop executive dashboards in Power BI and/or Tableau showcasing IT performance, cost optimization, service delivery, and TBM metrics • Business Intelligence: Transform raw data into actionable insights with trend analysis, variance explanations, and recommendations • Value Narrative Development: Translate technical metrics into business value stories that resonate with different stakeholder levels • Ad-hoc Analysis: Respond rapidly to senior management information requests with accurate, well-presented analysis • Reporting Automation: Drive automation initiatives to eliminate manual reporting processes and improve data refresh cycles • Quality Assurance: Ensure consistency, accuracy, and professional presentation across all reporting deliverables Service Governance & Compliance (30%) • Service Management Maturity: Document and standardize the roles & responsibilities, including training sessions for our Service Managers • BAU Governance Reporting: Support for new requirements to stand up and operationalize governance forums for CIO BM senior management • Service Governance Documentation: Build service governance documentation, frameworks, policies, and procedures • Stakeholder Mgmt. & Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with varied stakeholders to drive the change agenda and maturity to manage senior stakeholders who have diverse requirements and build consensus on a solution that is in the best interest of the organization • Compliance & Metrics: Ensure adherence and compliance with governance framework; track and report service metrics • Data Quality Checks: Implement and execute monthly / quarterly data quality checks; drive closure on breaks and pending inputs • Service Catalog: Ensure service catalog and CMDB accuracy; and mapping with downstream applications
