Full job description

As anAccount Executive - Portfolio for Large Conglomerates in the India market, you will serve as the primary doer and strategic orchestrator, for handling a defined set of, sophisticated accounts. You will build and sustain long-term, executive-level relationships, aligning Cisco's comprehensive product strategy with the unique business outcomes and digital transformation roadmaps of the region's largest business groups. As the central Account Orchestrator, you will drive sustainable, cross-portfolio growth by integrating secure networking technologies-including switching, wireless, routing, and firewall solutions-into the customer's core business architecture. You will lead the sales process from opportunity prospecting to closure, maximising Portfolio Solution Engineers and specialist teams to deliver differentiated competitive positioning. You will be responsible for maintaining an accurate sales funnel, providing data-driven revenue forecasts, and navigating the nuances of the Indian enterprise landscape to achieve ambitious sales commitments.

Specialization and Focus: Generalist approach with deep expertise in core secure networking (switching, wireless, routing, firewall) and the ability to scale solutions across diverse conglomerate business units.
Customer Engagement: Primary account owner and influencer, driving engagement at the C-suite and board level.
Sales Cycle: Manages highly complicated deal cycles (12-18+ months) with significant deal values tailored to the scale of large conglomerates.
Success Measures: Sustained cross-portfolio growth, expansion of Cisco's footprint within conglomerate ecosystems, and long-term account retention.

What You'll Do

Portfolio Orchestration: Orchestrate sophisticated, multi-year deal cycles across large conglomerates, managing multiple stakeholders, subsidiaries, and departments to drive significant business impact.
Executive Engagement: Lead high-stakes engagements with C-suite executives and key decision-makers to champion customer-first strategies that catalyze business transformation.
Strategic Insight: Anticipate evolving market needs by maximising knowledge of the Indian economic landscape, business models, and emerging technology trends.
Competitive Positioning: Identify and interpret competitive shifts, providing recommendations to internal ip and external partners to maintain Cisco's market-leading position.
Partnership Management: Secure long-term partnerships that align with both the customer's goals and Cisco's strategic vision.
Consultative Negotiation: Lead negotiations by balancing driven pricing, service level agreements (SLAs), and contractual commitments to ensure mutual value.
Account Planning: Drive comprehensive account planning, maximising cross-functional resources and ecosystem partners to uncover new consumption models and architectural opportunities.
Technical Advocacy: Demonstrate technical fluency in articulating the long-term value of Cisco's full portfolio, from secure networking to software-defined solutions.
Operational Excellence: Integrate CRM data with business intelligence to optimize sales operations, ensuring transparency and efficiency across the GTM organization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Revenue Operations, Finance, Legal, and Procurement to enhance cross-functional workflows and ensure seamless deal execution.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
15+ years of proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, specifically within the technology sector and handling large enterprise or accounts.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.
Consistent record of handling multi-million dollar deals within the India market.
Deep expertise in networking, cybersecurity, and cloud-hybrid architectures.
Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed global organization.
Established relationships with C-suite executives in large Indian conglomerates.
