About the Role
Introduction –

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of high-quality educational content within a globally respected publishing organisation. As an English Editor, you will play a critical role in shaping engaging and pedagogically strong learning materials aligned with evolving educational standards such as NEP 2020 and NCF 2022.

This role offers a meaningful career move for professionals looking to deepen their expertise in educational publishing and content development. You will be part of a purpose-driven organisation committed to enhancing learning outcomes and supporting the education ecosystem.

The role is particularly interesting as it combines traditional editorial responsibilities with digital content creation, including work on Learning Management Systems, animations, interactivities, and question banks. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to innovative product development, making this a dynamic and future-focused opportunity.

Opportunity –

In this role, you will:
Develop and edit English language content with a strong focus on learning objectives and market requirements aligned with NEP and NCF frameworks
Manage projects end-to-end, from manuscript stage to final print and digital delivery
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and develop digital and blended learning products, including creation of new products and revision of existing ones
Research and adopt the latest pedagogical approaches to enhance product quality
Review and validate factual content in collaboration with content developers
Ensure high standards of quality, accuracy, timelines, and cost efficiency across all deliverables
Conduct detailed editorial reviews of Coursebooks, Workbooks, Literature Readers, and Teacher’s Manuals
Develop and review digital content on Learning Management Systems, ensuring accuracy and functionality
Create and review storyboards for animations, interactivities, and digital learning elements
Develop question banks and align them with relevant taxonomies, ensuring quality reviews at all stages until final sign-off
Create and review audio scripts, evaluate audio files, and ensure functionality of interactive e-books
Manage timelines and project milestones effectively to meet delivery schedules
Work closely with content contributors, freelancers, and vendors involved in product development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and business development, to understand customer needs and enhance product offerings
Support training and knowledge-sharing initiatives for business development teams to enable effective product demonstrations
Partner with excellence teams to drive engagement initiatives such as webinars and product demonstrations

About You

Essential Criteria
Postgraduate degree with at least 5–7 years of relevant experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Attention to detail and strong editorial skills across print and digital formats
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Desirable Criteria
MA in English and/or MPhil in Education
Experience in developing products in the K–8 EdTech industry
Teaching or teacher training experience
Understanding of school education systems, pedagogy, and curriculum frameworks
Agile mindset with the ability to adapt to changing industry demands
