Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Analyst who combines strong technical expertise in SAP development with an evolving understanding of AI and generative technologies. This role focuses on delivering robust SAP solutions while leveraging AI tools and concepts to improve productivity, code quality, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between technical, functional, and business teams to ensure efficient and effective deployment of SAP solutions.
Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical designs.
Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP and OO ABAP.
Implement complex system enhancements and deliver tailored SAP solutions.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve advanced technical issues within SAP systems.
Plan, assign, and oversee ABAP development activities to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high coding standards and best practices.
Design and develop integrations using SAP interface technologies such as IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.
Develop and consume ODATA services within SAP environments.
Work on SAP Workflow design and implementation to streamline business processes.
Collaborate on ECC/HANA project implementations, upgrades, and optimizations.
Leverage generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to assist in code generation, debugging, and documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 9+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
Technical Skills
Core SAP Expertise
Significant Experience with ECC HANA.
Experience in highly customized environments
Strong command over ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP.
Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining RICEFW objects and Data Dictionary elements.
Proven experience in SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, enhancements, and production support.
Process knowledge in core SAP modules such as SD/MM/WM/PP/FICO
Integration & SAP Technologies
Strong experience with SAP integration technologies such as IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.
