About the Role
We are opening a CBS position for a ServiceNow Platform Senior Developer to support platform evolution and scale. The role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform, driving technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
. Design, develop, and deploy custom applications, modules, and enhancements on the ServiceNow platform aligned with HOS onboarding requirements.
. Own end to end technical delivery: requirement analysis, low level design, development, unit testing, code review, deployment, and hyper care.
. Build server side (Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs) and client side (Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions) logic using Glide APIs and JavaScript.
. Develop and manage integrations with third party systems using REST/SOAP web services, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and custom spokes.
. Implement Access Control Rules (ACLs), roles, and data segregation to meet security and compliance requirements.
. Lead performance tuning, technical debt reduction, and platform upgrade activities across releases.
. Enforce ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and Technical Governance across the delivery team.
. Collaborate with architects, process consultants, and stakeholders
Mandatory Skills and Experience
. 6 to 9 years of hands on ServiceNow platform development experience across multiple full lifecycle implementations.
. Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Scheduled Jobs.
. Proven experience with Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP integrations, and MID Server configuration.
. Deep working knowledge of ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB, Service Catalog).
. Experience with Service Portal development (AngularJS, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3) and exposure to UI Builder / Next Experience.
. Solid understanding of CMDB, CI Class Manager, Discovery, and Service Mapping concepts.
. Experience implementing ACLs, roles, domain separation, and data policies for enterprise scale instances.
. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is mandatory.
. Experience with Agile / Scrum delivery, Git based source control, and CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow.
Preferred / Good to Have Skills
. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
. Exposure to ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management), SecOps, HRSD, or CSM.
. Experience with Performance Analytics, Reporting, and Dashboards.
. Familiarity with ATF (Automated Test Framework), Update Sets, and Application Repository.
. Understanding of ITIL v4 framework and process design.

. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Education
. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
