Full job description

We are looking for an Tandoor Commi 1 or 2 to join our hotel’s culinary team. The person should be. The role requires someone hardworking, passionate about cooking, and committed to maintaining high culinary standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare all tandoor items like naan, roti, kebabs, and tikkas - ensuring quality and consistency.
Maintain quality, taste, and presentation as per hotel standards.
Assist the DCDP and CDP in daily kitchen operations and menu planning.
Supervise and guide junior staff in food preparation and presentation.
Ensure all dishes are prepared according to company recipes and presentation standards.
Support the team during busy service hours and maintain smooth coordination.
Uphold company policies, kitchen SOPs, and safety regulations.

Skills & Qualities Needed:

2 + years of experience as a Commi in the tandoor section (hotel or restaurant).
Good knowledge of Indian tandoor and grill items.
Excellent attention to detail, hygiene, and presentation.
Positive attitude, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
Ready to work in shifts and during busy hours.
