- The Front Office Risk Data Storage Lead is responsible for the management, delivery and execution of a strategic solution that works across markets, storing different types of Front Office risk data, both intraday, EOD, as well as catering to various scenarios requirements, and establish reliable and performant consumption patterns. This role services all businesses in markets and forms part of the Core Risk Horizontal team and will be a key component of a multi-year Front to Back Risk Program Delivery.
- The Program Driven Initiatives focus primarily within the Fixed Income Risk Platforms and Core Shared Risk Platforms which are undergoing wide-scale re-development and a migration to cloud and require a Director to guide and lead these renovations
- The Co-Funded initiatives ensure all relevant Risk Storage and Consumption related programs are managed and delivered with a view to migrating away from current platform to target strategic state i.e. to take active part in the design and delivery of these co-funded initiatives to ensure they are developed for the strategic purpose
- The individual will be responsible for executing a Risk data strategy including aggregation, virtualisation and visualisation of Risk data
- The individual will be a senior technology leader with extensive experience in building scalable and resilient data storage platforms, ideally with experience within Risk space. Needs to be aware of the latest trends in Risk based technology and cloud compute
- The individual will also be responsible to execute and implement engineering excellence practices and helping the platforms scale towards being aligned to agile ways of delivery through CI/CD pipeline and full DevOps implementation. The key measure of success will be business and engineering productivity and shorter lead times for delivery.
