Content & Brand Storyteller
Experience Destination (ED) · Guwahati (preferred) · Full-time

About us

We don't sell travel packages. We build journeys.

ED is an experiential travel company working across Meghalaya, Assam, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram. Search "Meghalaya tour package" and you'll find a hundred companies selling the same six places in the same six days. We're building the opposite: journeys shaped by local storytellers, cultural immersion, and experiences you can't book off a listicle. Our guests don't come back with photos. They come back with stories.

We're looking for the person who will tell those stories to the world.

The role

You'll own how ED sounds and what ED says — across Instagram, YouTube, and our website. This is a founding creative role. There is no content team to inherit and no brand book to follow. You'll build both.

You will:

Own ideation and scripting for short-form and long-form video — hooks, narrative arcs, retention
Build and run the content calendar across the funnel: discovery, awareness, retargeting
Turn the highlight of every day of every ED itinerary into content worth watching — video, and direction for written pieces
Work with our freelance editor to ship consistently, week after week
Direct our founder on camera — and over time, put our local guides, cooks and storytellers on camera too
Shape ED's voice and defend it
Give direction to our blog and SEO content (writers are freelance; the thinking is yours)
Experiment with formats: hook-led shorts, podcast-style conversations, documentary, episodic series

Who we're looking for

2–4 years making content people actually watched. We care about what you shipped, not where you worked.
A portfolio of scripts and ideas, not just edits. We have an editor. We need someone who knows what's worth editing.
You understand why a video retains — not just how to shoot one.
Strong written English and a genuine point of view about storytelling.
Comfortable on the road. This job involves travelling through the Northeast, on our trips, watching guests react in real time. You cannot write this from a desk.
Bonus: you've grown a channel of your own. You're from the Northeast, or you know it.

What we offer

₹32,000–₹35,000/month to start, with a structured six-month review against clear outcomes — content shipped, channel growth, enquiries generated. We'd rather pay you more later for results than more now for potential.
