We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and technically skilled Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality conference websites that deliver an exceptional user experience.
Role Summary
The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, managing, and maintaining responsive, secure, and high-performance websites for medical conferences and corporate events. The role requires close collaboration with the scientific, registration, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless digital experiences for delegates, faculty, sponsors, exhibitors, and organizers.
Key ResponsibilitiesWebsite Design & Development
- Design and develop visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly conference websites.
- Build websites using modern web technologies and CMS platforms where required.
- Ensure compatibility across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Develop reusable templates for conference websites to maintain consistency and improve efficiency.
Website Maintenance
- Update scientific programs, faculty profiles, speaker information, registration details, sponsors, exhibitors, accommodation, travel information, and announcements.
- Maintain website security, backups, and regular updates.
- Monitor website performance and optimize loading speed.
Registration & Event Integration
- Integrate online registration systems and payment gateways.
- Develop abstract submission and review portals.
- Build speaker and faculty login dashboards.
- Create exhibitor and sponsor management sections.
- Integrate event mobile applications where applicable.
- Coordinate with CRM and email marketing platforms.
Technical Support
- Troubleshoot website issues before and during conferences.
- Provide technical support to internal teams.
- Ensure maximum website uptime during registration periods and live events.
SEO & Performance
- Implement Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices.
- Optimize Core Web Vitals and website performance.
- Configure Google Analytics, Search Console, Meta Pixel, and other tracking tools.
- Generate website traffic and performance reports.
Security & Compliance
- Implement SSL certificates and website security measures.
- Ensure secure handling of delegate information.
- Follow data privacy and cybersecurity best practices.
Innovation
- Suggest new technologies and features to improve user experience.
- Implement AI-powered tools such as chatbots, automated FAQs, and intelligent search where appropriate.
- Stay updated with emerging web development trends and technologies.
