Full job description

Job Title: Accounts Executive – Export & International Business

Department: Accounts

Location: Kolkata

Reporting To: Accounts Department / Finance Head

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive - Accounts to join our Finance Department at our Kolkata office. The ideal candidate should possess strong finance and accounting knowledge, excellent communication skills in both Hindi and English, and hands-on experience in handling finance-related matters for both domestic and international business operations. The candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of export finance, documentation, and international trade processes.

Key Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day finance and accounting activities for domestic and international business operations.
Resolve routine finance-related issues by coordinating with internal departments, customers, banks, and external stakeholders.
Manage export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, shipping documents, Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Realisation Certificates (BRC), Bill of Lading (BL), and other export-related documentation.
Coordinate with banks regarding export remittances, foreign exchange transactions, and export finance facilities.
Monitor receivables, payables, and cash flow related to export and domestic transactions.
Ensure compliance with RBI, FEMA, GST, Customs, DGFT, and other applicable statutory regulations related to exports.
Reconcile bank accounts, customer accounts, and export transactions.
Prepare financial reports, MIS, and management reports as required.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and statutory authorities during audits and assessments.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and documentation.
Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements within the finance function.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) with CA Inter, CMA Inter, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
4–8 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in an export-oriented manufacturing or trading organization.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and banking operations.
Thorough understanding of export documentation, international trade procedures, foreign exchange regulations, and export finance.
Working knowledge of GST, TDS, Customs procedures, FEMA, and RBI guidelines.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar).

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
