About Silk Kabira

Silk Kabira is a Mumbai-based handcrafted fashion accessories brand focused on bringing Indian craftsmanship to customers and businesses globally.

We are looking for a Business Development & E-commerce Specialist who can help us grow our international B2B business, e-commerce sales, and strategic partnerships.

This is a hands-on, target-oriented role. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with lead generation, cold calling, client meetings, sales follow-ups, closing deals, e-commerce management, and building new business opportunities.

Key ResponsibilitiesInternational B2B Business Development & Sales

Identify and approach potential international B2B customers, including retailers, boutiques, fashion stores, distributors, wholesalers, resellers, corporate buyers, and lifestyle businesses.
Generate leads through cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, online research, and other outbound channels.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
Contact potential customers and introduce Silk Kabira's products and brand.
Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
Follow up with prospects and move opportunities towards conversion.
Close bulk, wholesale, and repeat B2B orders.
Build long-term relationships with international customers and partners.
Research new international markets and identify potential business opportunities.

E-commerce Management & Growth

Manage Silk Kabira's presence across e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces.
Manage product listings, titles, descriptions, pricing, images, inventory, and catalogue information.
Monitor orders, customer enquiries, reviews, returns, and store performance.
Identify opportunities to improve online sales, product visibility, and conversion rates.
Assist with managing platforms such as Amazon, Etsy, Shopify/website, and other relevant marketplaces.
Research and identify new domestic and international e-commerce platforms.
Monitor competitors, pricing, products, promotions, and market trends.
Work towards achieving monthly online sales targets.

Partnerships & Marketing

Identify and approach potential B2B and B2C partners, including boutiques, retailers, fashion brands, stylists, gifting companies, influencers, and other relevant businesses.
Develop collaborations and partnerships that can generate new customers and revenue.
Explore wholesale, corporate gifting, retail, distribution, and other sales opportunities.
Support marketing initiatives related to customer acquisition and sales.
Identify new channels and opportunities for brand growth.

Sales Tracking & Reporting

Maintain an organised database of leads, prospects, customers, and partners.
Track calls, emails, meetings, quotations, follow-ups, conversions, and sales.
Maintain an updated sales pipeline.
Prepare regular reports on leads generated, meetings conducted, orders closed, and revenue generated.
Work towards agreed monthly and quarterly targets.

Requirements

2–4 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, E-commerce, Retail, Fashion, Lifestyle, D2C, or a related field.
Experience with a fashion, accessories, handicraft, lifestyle, retail, or D2C brand will be preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable with cold calling and outbound sales.
Strong negotiation, follow-up, and closing skills.
Good understanding of e-commerce and online marketplaces.
Experience with platforms such as Amazon Seller Central, Etsy, Shopify, or similar platforms is an advantage.
Good written and spoken English.
Strong organisational and research skills.
Comfortable working with sales targets and performance-based incentives.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of business development and e-commerce activities.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, proactive, target-driven, and comfortable generating business independently.

This is not a pure social media or digital marketing position.

The person should be able to:

Find prospects → Start conversations → Set meetings → Present products → Follow up → Negotiate → Close orders → Build repeat business.

At the same time, they should be comfortable managing and growing Silk Kabira's online sales channels.

Compensation

₹35,000 – ₹50,000 per month + Performance-Based Incentives

The incentive structure will be linked to successful conversions, sales generated, and achievement of agreed targets.

High performers will have the opportunity to increase their overall earnings through incentives.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
