HR & Admin Intern – PPO Track

Company: Telosa Services Pvt. Ltd.
Location: Pune
Position Type: Full-time Internship
Duration: 3–6 months
Compensation: Monthly stipend
PPO: Performance-based Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) on successful completion of the internship

About Telosa

Telosa is an AI-powered Customer Experience and Reputation Management platform built for multi-location and franchise businesses.

We help brands manage customer conversations, reviews, reputation, feedback and issue resolution across multiple digital channels — at scale.

As we continue to grow our team, we are looking for a proactive and organised HR & Admin Intern who can help us build strong people and operational processes while getting hands-on exposure to a fast-growing startup environment.

The Role

This is a hands-on HR + Administration internship for someone who enjoys working with people, processes and execution.

You will work closely with the HR team and the Founder/leadership team across recruitment, employee onboarding, HR operations, documentation, employee engagement and office administration.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of tasks, following up with people, maintaining records and ensuring that things actually get done.

This is not a passive internship. You will be expected to independently manage assigned HR and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Hiring

Support the team in sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals and other channels.
Screen resumes against defined job requirements.
Coordinate initial candidate communication and interview schedules.
Maintain the candidate pipeline and recruitment tracker.
Follow up with candidates and interviewers.
Coordinate offer documentation and joining formalities.
Maintain a structured database of candidates and hiring status.

2. Employee Onboarding & HR Operations

Coordinate end-to-end employee onboarding.
Collect and maintain employee documents and records.
Ensure offer letters, joining documents and HR records are complete.
Maintain employee master data and HR trackers.
Coordinate induction programs for new employees.
Maintain leave, attendance and basic employee records.
Support exit formalities and documentation.

3. Employee Engagement

Help organise employee engagement activities, celebrations and team events.
Coordinate birthday, work anniversary and other employee initiatives.
Assist in collecting employee feedback.
Help build a positive and engaging workplace culture.
Support internal communication and HR announcements.

4. HR Documentation & Process

Maintain HR policies, templates and employee documentation.
Ensure HR records are organised and up to date.
Help create and maintain SOPs for recurring HR processes.
Support HR reporting and periodic management updates.
Identify gaps in existing HR processes and suggest improvements.

5. Administration & Office Operations

Support day-to-day office administration.
Coordinate office supplies, vendors and basic facilities requirements.
Maintain records of administrative expenses and purchases.
Coordinate with housekeeping, office vendors and service providers.
Support travel, meeting and event arrangements when required.
Ensure the office is organised and operationally ready.

6. Startup & Founder's Office Support

Since Telosa is a growing startup, you will also get exposure to Founder’s Office / business operations.

You may be involved in:

Creating trackers and reports.
Following up on action items.
Coordinating across teams.
Supporting internal projects.
Preparing basic presentations/documents.
Helping implement new processes as the organisation scales.

What We Are Looking For

Graduate/MBA/PG student in HR, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
Strong communication skills — written and verbal.
Good organisational and follow-up skills.
Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information.
Strong attention to detail.
Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Ability to communicate professionally with employees, candidates and external vendors.

Good to Have

Prior internship/project experience in HR.
Familiarity with recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn/Naukri.
Basic understanding of HR processes.
Experience with Google Workspace, Excel or HRMS tools.
Interest in startup culture and people operations.

What You Will Learn

During the internship, you will get practical exposure to:

Recruitment → Onboarding → HR Operations → Employee Engagement → HR Documentation → Administration → People Processes → Startup Operations

You will work closely with the leadership team and understand how HR and people operations are built in a growing company from the ground up.

Performance & PPO Criteria

This internship is designed as a PPO-track opportunity.

At the end of the internship, the candidate may be offered a full-time position with Telosa, based on performance and business requirements.

The PPO will primarily be evaluated on:

1. Ownership

Does the intern take responsibility for tasks without requiring constant follow-up?

2. Execution

Are assigned tasks completed accurately and on time?

3. Recruitment Effectiveness

Ability to source, screen and coordinate good candidates effectively.

4. Process Discipline

Ability to maintain accurate trackers, documentation and HR records.

5. Communication

Professional and timely communication with candidates, employees and stakeholders.

6. Problem Solving

Ability to identify issues and independently find practical solutions.

7. Initiative

Does the intern identify things that need to be done rather than waiting for instructions?

8. Cultural Fit

Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to Telosa's startup culture.

Indicative 90-Day Outcomes

By the end of the first 3 months, the intern should be able to:

Independently maintain the employee master tracker.
Manage basic onboarding and joining documentation.
Maintain the recruitment pipeline and interview coordination.
Support hiring for selected positions.
Maintain leave/attendance and HR records.
Independently coordinate basic employee engagement activities.
Manage routine office administration and vendor follow-ups.
Create and maintain HR SOPs/checklists for recurring processes.
Provide a weekly HR/Admin status report to the HR/leadership team.
Demonstrate the ability to take ownership of tasks without constant supervision.

PPO Opportunity

Perform well → Take ownership → Demonstrate consistency → Earn a full-time opportunity.

Candidates demonstrating strong performance, ownership and learning ability during the internship will be considered for a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) with Telosa.

The full-time role and compensation will be discussed based on the candidate's performance, capabilities and role requirements at the time of conversion.
