About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Web Author with 5+ years of experience in web content authoring and digital content management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with enterprise CMS platforms, particularly Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), along with a strong understanding of web publishing, SEO, accessibility standards, and user experience principles. You will work closely with content, design, UX, and development teams to create, manage, and publish high-quality digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Create, edit, and publish web content using CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), WordPress, Sitecore, or Drupal.
Format and structure web pages using templates, reusable components, and layout guidelines.
Ensure content accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand voice, style, and publishing standards.
Optimize content for SEO, accessibility (WCAG), and web performance best practices.
Collaborate with designers, UX teams, developers, and content stakeholders to deliver engaging digital experiences.
Manage and maintain digital assets, including images, videos, documents, and other media.
Perform content updates, quality assurance, regression testing, and validation before publishing.
Ensure websites are compatible across multiple browsers and devices.
Follow established governance, workflow, review, and approval processes for content publishing.
Monitor website content for issues and coordinate with technical teams to resolve publishing or functionality problems.
Maintain content documentation, version control, and publishing records.
Support website enhancements and continuous content improvements based on user feedback and business requirements.
Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver content updates and digital projects on schedule.
Utilize analytics data to monitor content performance and recommend improvements.

Required Skills

5+ years of experience in web content authoring or digital content management.
Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar enterprise CMS platforms.
Strong understanding of content management systems such as AEM, WordPress, Sitecore, or Drupal.
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for content formatting and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of SEO principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
Knowledge of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
Familiarity with digital asset management practices.
Experience performing content quality assurance and regression testing.
Working knowledge of Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools.
Understanding of UX/UI principles and content optimization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, or similar image editing tools.
Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
Familiarity with version control and content governance processes.
Understanding of website migration and content lifecycle management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality digital experiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Information Technology, Marketing, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Digital Content Management, or Web Technologies are an added advantage.
