Job Summary
We are looking for a highly analytical and experienced Lead Data Analyst – Marketing & Content Analytics to lead data-driven initiatives across marketing, digital campaigns, and content performance. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), marketing analytics, data governance, and content performance measurement. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of transforming complex datasets into actionable business insights while establishing robust data quality and reporting frameworks.
As a Lead Data Analyst, you will work closely with marketing, content, product, and business teams to optimize campaigns, improve customer engagement, enhance operational processes, and enable informed business decisions through advanced analytics.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Data Analysis & Business Insights
- Perform comprehensive Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and anomalies across marketing and content datasets.
- Analyze campaign performance across multiple channels, including paid media, organic, email, SEO, social media, and web analytics.
- Evaluate customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and conversion metrics to identify growth opportunities.
- Deliver actionable recommendations to improve marketing ROI and campaign effectiveness.
- Develop executive dashboards and performance reports to monitor key business KPIs.
Marketing & Content Analytics
- Measure and analyze content performance across websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and digital platforms.
- Identify audience behavior, engagement trends, and conversion drivers.
- Support content strategy with data-backed recommendations for optimization.
- Track marketing attribution models and customer journey analytics.
- Monitor funnel performance and recommend optimization strategies.
Process Analysis & Business Optimization
- Develop a deep understanding of end-to-end marketing and content workflows.
- Identify process inefficiencies, operational bottlenecks, and automation opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data collection, reporting accuracy, and business processes.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Data Quality & Governance
- Design, implement, and maintain data quality frameworks and validation rules.
- Establish data monitoring systems to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity.
- Create documentation for data standards, governance policies, and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to improve data pipelines and lifecycle management.
Advanced Analytics & Predictive Insights
- Apply statistical techniques, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, clustering, and forecasting models to generate deeper business insights.
- Build scalable analytical models for marketing optimization.
- Identify emerging trends using advanced analytical methodologies.
- Recommend enhancements to analytics frameworks, reporting structures, and decision-making processes.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Present analytical findings to senior leadership in a clear and actionable manner.
- Partner with marketing, product, sales, and technology teams to drive strategic initiatives.
- Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in analytics and data governance.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Required Qualifications

- Relevant certifications in Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics, SQL, Python, or Data Analytics are an advantage.
Experience
- 6–8 years of experience in Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, or Data Analytics.
- Proven experience in Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA).
- Strong background in content performance analytics and digital marketing analytics.
- Experience designing and implementing data quality frameworks and governance processes.
- Hands-on experience with large datasets and marketing reporting systems.
- Experience working with cross-functional business stakeholders.
