Summary of Responsibility

We are seeking an experienced Company Secretary to lead the statutory and corporate compliance requirements for our India entity while supporting our global HR, Finance, Payroll, and Legal teams by coordinating international compliance activities with external advisors and vendors.

This role is responsible for ensuring timely statutory compliance in India and serving as a central point of coordination for global compliance and tax related matters.

Role - Company Secretary & Global Compliance Executive

Key Responsibilities

India Corporate Secretarial

Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013 and other applicable corporate laws.
Manage all MCA/ROC filings, statutory registers, annual returns, and corporate records.
Prepare Board and Shareholder meeting notices, agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
Coordinate with auditors, legal counsel, and external Company Secretaries.
Monitor statutory deadlines and ensure timely compliance.

Global Compliance Coordination

Coordinate with external tax, legal, payroll, and compliance advisors across international locations as required.
Track compliance calendars, statutory filings, and regulatory deadlines.
Gather required information, maintain compliance documentation, and follow up with external advisors to ensure timely completion of compliance and tax activities.
Maintain compliance trackers, corporate records, and audit-ready documentation.
Identify compliance risks and escalate issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
Supporting tax audits by organizing documents and responding to information requests.
Gathering financial and statutory information required for tax filings.

Qualifications:

Qualified Company Secretary (CS) and an Associate/Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) with a valid Membership Number (ACS/FCS).
3–6 years of relevant post-qualification experience in corporate secretarial and statutory compliance.
Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013, MCA/ROC filings, and corporate governance.
Experience coordinating with external auditors, legal firms, and consultants.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with global stakeholders, external advisors, and senior leadership.
Strong organizational, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Experience working with multinational organizations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
