Role description
Appian Developer We are seeking an experienced Appian Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise workflow and business process applications using the Appian Low-Code Platform.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Appian design, development, integrations, process automation, and production support.
The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and development teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Appian applications and business workflows.
Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop Appian objects including Process Models, Interfaces (SAIL), Records, Reports, Sites, and Integration Objects.
Configure and implement business rules, process automation, and case management solutions.
Integrate Appian applications with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, databases, and middleware.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing Appian applications.
Ensure applications meet security, performance, scalability, and compliance standards.
Participate in code reviews and enforce Appian development best practices.
Create and maintain technical design documents and deployment guides.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
Support production issues, deployment activities, and release management. Contribute to Appian Center of Excellence (CoE) standards, reusable components, and best practices
Required Skills:
8+ years of software development experience with5+ years in Appian development.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Appian SAIL Process Models Records Reports Sites Expression Rules Decision Rules Appian Data Fabric Experience with Appian integrations using REST and SOAP services.
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Experience with Appian deployment and application lifecycle management.
Understanding of BPM, Workflow Automation, and Case Management concepts.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
Appian Certified Associate Developer / Senior Developer Certification.
Healthcare domain experience.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Exposure to Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, or cloud platforms.
Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jira, and Confluence
