About this Role

We are seeking an IT Operations and Automation Specialist to manage secure, reliable and high-performing IT operations across infrastructure, applications, security, access management and service delivery. This role focuses on delivering effective end-user support, improving service reliability, driving standardisation, enabling zero-touch IT practices and supporting operational improvements through automation, monitoring tools and Power BI reporting. The role is based in Pune – SP Infocity and supports business stakeholders through IT service delivery, project coordination, vendor governance, risk management and data-driven decision-making.

What you’ll do

Own and manage end-to-end IT operations across hardware, software, networks, security and access management to support stable, compliant and resilient IT services.
Provide efficient end-user technical support, improving resolution turnaround time through standardisation and automation.
Support deployment, configuration and lifecycle management of IT systems and applications, using repeatable and automated processes where feasible.
Drive zero-touch IT operations, including automated provisioning, patch management, monitoring alerts, system health checks and user onboarding or offboarding.
Monitor IT infrastructure performance, availability and security using automated tools and dashboards, identifying risks early and supporting preventive action.
Manage IT projects and operational improvements from planning to execution, including automation-led enhancements, resource coordination, timelines and stakeholder communication.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and department heads to understand IT requirements, prioritise automation opportunities and align IT solutions with business objectives.
Establish and maintain IT process automation and standard operating procedures to support consistency, scalability and self-service capabilities.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts and SLAs, supporting quality delivery, cost efficiency and service performance.
Support data integrity, security, backup and recovery processes using automated controls and periodic validation.
Develop and support basic Power BI reports and dashboards, including data cleaning, transformation, visualisation and automated refresh opportunities.
Assist with business requirement gathering, documentation, user training and adoption for Power BI and IT self-service tools.
Keep up to date with emerging IT operations tools, automation frameworks and Power BI capabilities to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Who you are

You bring 4+ years of experience in IT operations, end-user support or a similar technology operations role.
You have a good understanding of Microsoft technologies, including Windows 11, Office 365, Power Platform and Power BI concepts such as data visualisation, report creation and dashboard design.
You have exposure to enterprise-level AV/VC systems and IT communications.
You understand end-user IT hardware support and can contribute to stable workplace technology services.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
You demonstrate analytical thinking, attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
You communicate clearly, collaborate effectively and work well with colleagues, stakeholders and vendors.
You are keen to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools, particularly within business intelligence, automation and IT operations.
You hold a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
You are ITIL 4 or 5 Foundation certified and have Microsoft MS-900 training or certification.
