Core responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1.5 and Level 2 operational support for enterprise LAN/WAN and network infrastructure in a 24/7 environment.
- Troubleshoot ISP, site, store, connectivity, and network performance issues while coordinating with service providers and third-party vendors.
- Configure, monitor, and support Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and SD-WAN technologies.
- Diagnose routing issues involving EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, iBGP, and eBGP, along with IP services such as DNS and DHCP.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and follow-ups using ServiceNow and other ticketing or network management tools.
- Support small and medium infrastructure projects involving network planning, design, deployment, implementation, and documentation.
- Maintain network availability, reliability, security, and compliance; a CCNA or CCNP certification is mandatory.

The Technology Operations Engineer leads medium to small projects involving the operational support and deployment. level 1.5 technical support of LAN/WAN, information technology.

Hands on experience on managing and troubleshooting Juniper devices like switches, access points and routers and Juniper Mist.

Hands on experience in SDWAN technology.

Has expertise in Data and Voice Network topology and technology skillsets.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)

3 years of experience in an IT support environment with technical experience in distributed technologies and systems development

Experience with systems (both infrastructure and applications) management, diagnostics, and support

Familiarity with networking, server, storage technologies and with n-tier architectures.
Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field

3 years of experience leading technical or project teams with or without direct reports

3 years of work experience in an IT role requiring interaction with senior management (i.e., Director level or higher)

3 years of experience working in a large matrixed organization

3 years of experience working with third party IT vendors and/or systems solution providers

3 years of IT experience in the retail industry

3 years of experience writing technical documentation in an infrastructure development environment

Knowledge of one or more of the following: Unix/Linux/Windows server administration experience (RedHat); Configuration management and automation tools; Database administration experience (RDBMS, NoSQL); Messaging technologies (MQ. Kafka); Web Servers Experience (Apache, Nginx); Application containers (Jboss); Core Services - NTP, proxy, mail, DNS; IT security; Public/Private Cloud technology; Scripting languages; Object-oriented languages; Big Data technologies (Splunk)
