This is an ownership-driven role. Candidates must be disciplined, dependable and willing to be accountable for the work assigned to them.

- Validate APIs using tools such as Postman or similar platforms.
- Test applications across browsers, devices and different user scenarios.
- Maintain proper QA documentation and testing reports.
- Participate in sprint planning, release discussions and technical meetings.
- Ensure that critical defects are not passed into production because of incomplete or careless testing.
- Track assigned tasks and ensure testing is completed within committed timelines.
- Escalate risks or blockers well before release deadlines.
- Take ownership of the final quality check before deployment.

Ownership & Accountability
This position requires a strong sense of professional ownership.
The QA Engineer will be expected to take responsibility for the testing work assigned to them and must ensure that agreed testing activities are completed properly before providing QA approval.

Any performance-linked consequences, incentives, deductions or disciplinary actions will be handled strictly according to the employee's agreed employment terms, company policy and applicable labour laws.
The objective is not to penalise genuine mistakes, but we require professionals who understand that QA approval carries responsibility and cannot be treated casually.
