Job Summary

Classification: InternalActive Directory Administrator – Job DescriptionJob Title: Active Directory Administrator / Active Directory EngineerJob Summary: We are seeking an experienced Active Directory Administrator tomanage, maintain, and enhance the organization\'s Microsoft Active Directoryinfrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for user and groupadministration, Group Policy management, directory services security, identity andaccess management, and troubleshooting AD-related issues across enterpriseenvironments.Key Responsibilities• Administer and maintain Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).• Create, modify, and manage user accounts, groups, computer accounts, andOrganizational Units (OUs).• Design, implement, and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs).• Manage Active Directory Sites, Trusts, DNS, DHCP, and LDAP integrations.• Monitor domain controller health, replication, and directory servicesperformance.• Implement security best practices, access controls, and privileged accountmanagement.• Support Azure AD / Entra ID and hybrid identity environments.• Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and directory-related issues.• Perform AD backup, recovery, and disaster recovery testing.• Manage service accounts and delegated administration.• Conduct periodic security audits and compliance reviews.• Develop PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting.• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and change records.• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams.Required Skills• Strong experience with Microsoft Active Directory.• Hands-on experience with GPO creation and management.• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Kerberos, and NTLM. Classification: Internal• Experience with Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID.• PowerShell scripting and automation skills.• Understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM).• Experience with AD replication, trusts, and forest/domain administration.• Knowledge of security hardening and compliance standards.• Familiarity with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.Key Deliverables• AD administration and governance.• User lifecycle management.• Security and compliance adherence.• GPO deployment and maintenance.• AD health monitoring and reporting.• Access provisioning and deprovisioning.

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide Expert Support For On-Premise Active Directory Issues By Independently Resolving Tickets And Ensuring Adherence To Quality Standards And Company Policies.
2. Manage On-Call Escalations Effectively, Conducting Root Cause Analysis For Recurring Issues To Minimize Disruptions And Enhance Service Reliability.
3. Contribute To Knowledge Management By Updating The Knowledge Base And Training New Team Members, Ensuring The Continuous Development Of Support Analysts.
4. Ensure Timely Resolution Of Support Tickets Within Agreed Sla Parameters, Maintaining High Standards Of Service Delivery.
5. Foster Positive Customer Experiences And High Csat Scores Through First Call Resolution Practices And Minimizing The Number Of Reopened Cases.
Skill Requirements
1. In-Depth Knowledge Of On-Premise Active Directory Administration, Including User Management, Group Policies, And Security Protocols.
2. Strong Analytical Skills For Conducting Root Cause Analysis And Troubleshooting Complex Issues.
3. Proficiency In Implementing Quality Standards And Regulatory Compliance Measures Within It Support Operations.
4. Excellent Communication And Coaching Skills To Facilitate Training And Knowledge Sharing Among Team Members.

Other Requirements
1. Itil Foundation Certification (Optional But Valuable).
