Mobile App Automation Engineer

Experience: 3–6 Years | Employment Type: Full-Time | Location: India

About the Role

We are looking for a Mobile App Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in mobile test automation. You will work closely with our engineering and QA teams on applications built for US-based clients and Silicon Valley product companies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Appium.
Automate functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test scenarios for Android and iOS.
Write clean, reusable automation scripts using Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Kotlin.
Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
Perform API testing and troubleshoot application/API issues.
Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and work closely with developers to resolve defects.
Maintain automation suites and continuously improve test coverage and reliability.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with US-based engineering teams.

Requirements

3–6 years of experience in Mobile Automation Testing / Quality Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Appium.
Experience with Android and/or iOS automation.
Good programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Kotlin.
Experience with API testing, Git, and CI/CD.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work with US-based clients/teams.

Nice to Have: Experience with XCUITest, Espresso, BrowserStack/Sauce Labs, and Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
