Role Summary

We are looking for a driven Inside Sales Executive to join our Sales & Business Development team. This role is responsible for generating and qualifying leads, building the initial sales pipeline, and supporting the pre-sales/business development team in converting opportunities into revenue. You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients across cybersecurity services and product resale, working closely with the senior sales team to move deals through the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

Research, identify, and build a database of target accounts across BFSI, enterprise, healthcare, and government sectors.
Generate outbound leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and follow-ups on inbound enquiries.
Qualify leads using BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) or equivalent frameworks before handing off to the senior sales/pre-sales team.

Pipeline Support & Deal Progression

Support the business development team in preparing proposals, commercial quotations, and scope documents for cybersecurity services (VAPT, compliance, staff augmentation) and product resale.
Coordinate with the pre-sales team to schedule demos, client calls, and follow-up meetings.
Follow up on sent proposals, track decision timelines, and flag deals at risk of stalling.

CRM & Reporting

Maintain the Zoho CRM pipeline with up-to-date deal stages, expected close dates, and commercial values.
Prepare weekly and monthly pipeline reports for the sales leadership team.

Client Relationship Building

Build and maintain professional relationships with prospective and existing clients through regular touchpoints.
Understand client pain points around cybersecurity compliance, risk management, and security operations, and position TechD's services accordingly.

Skills & Qualifications

Required

2–4 years of experience in inside sales, tele-sales, business development, or lead generation (IT/cybersecurity industry preferred).
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Hindi proficiency is a plus.
Comfortable with cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn prospecting at volume.
Familiarity with CRM tools (Zoho CRM preferred; Salesforce, HubSpot also acceptable).
Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume pipeline environment.
Graduate in any discipline (B.Tech / BBA / B.Com / MBA preferred but not mandatory).

Good to Have

Basic understanding of cybersecurity services (VAPT, SOC, compliance, cloud security) or willingness to learn quickly.
Prior experience selling IT services or SaaS products to mid-market / enterprise clients.
Exposure to cybersecurity product vendors.
Familiarity with Indian regulatory/compliance frameworks (RBI, SEBI, CERT-In, ISO 27001) as they relate to client needs.
