Job purpose:
The Principal Engineer – Full Stack (.NET & Angular) is responsible for providing technical leadership in the design, development, and delivery of enterprise software solutions. The role combines hands-on software engineering with architectural leadership, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable applications that align with business objectives and product strategy.
This role partners closely with Product Management, Quality Assurance, DevOps, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality software while driving engineering excellence, technical innovation, and continuous improvement.
Core responsibilities :
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise web applications using .NET, Angular, and SQL Server technologies.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable full-stack solutions aligned with product and business objectives.
- Develop high-quality backend services, RESTful APIs, and frontend user interfaces following modern engineering practices.
- Provide technical leadership to engineering teams through architecture reviews, code reviews, mentoring, and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders to evaluate business requirements, estimate technical effort, and define implementation strategies.
- Drive engineering best practices, including coding standards, secure development, automated testing, and continuous integration.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges, production issues, and performance bottlenecks across the application stack.
- Lead modernization initiatives, including application architecture improvements, framework upgrades, and cloud adoption where appropriate.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to improve deployment automation, monitoring, scalability, and application reliability.
- Identify and reduce technical debt while balancing product delivery timelines and long-term maintainability.
- Contribute to release planning, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering organization.
- Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing, technical growth, and engineering excellence within the team.

Required experience and skills:
- 10+ years of professional software development experience, including significant experience developing enterprise web applications.
- Proven experience leading technical design and architecture for full-stack applications.
- Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions across teams.
- Experience working within Agile software development environments.
- Experience collaborating with Product Management, QA, DevOps, and Customer Support teams.
- Experience delivering customer-facing software in production environments.
- Business-level English proficiency (written and verbal) required (mandatory for customer-facing roles)
- Expert-level development experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
- Strong experience developing RESTful APIs using NET Core Web API.
- Strong frontend development experience using Angular and TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Experience with authentication and authorization technologies such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
- Experience with Git-based source control and modern branching strategies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles, design patterns, SOLID principles, and software architecture.
- Experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems and performance issues.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications.
- Experience with messaging technologies and asynchronous processing.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
