The Opportunity
Are you passionate about leveraging data, analytics, and automation to drive business performance? Join Hitachi Energy as a Finance Analyst and play a key role in supporting Global Function Heads, Managers, and Finance Business Partners with financial planning, reporting, and decision-making.
In this role, you will combine financial expertise with data analytics and digital capabilities to deliver actionable insights that support strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for transforming financial data into meaningful dashboards and reports, enabling stakeholders to make informed business decisions based on accurate and timely information.
You will collaborate closely with finance leaders and global business stakeholders to improve financial transparency, strengthen cost control processes, and optimize reporting efficiency. By leveraging modern analytics tools, business intelligence platforms, and automation technologies, you will help streamline finance processes, enhance productivity, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities by delivering accurate and insightful financial analysis.
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated reports, dashboards, and analytical tools that improve business visibility and decision-making.
Partner with Global Function Heads, Managers, and Finance Business Partners to provide data-driven recommendations and performance insights.
Monitor costs, budgets, and financial performance indicators to support effective controlling and business planning processes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing standardized and scalable solutions.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure adherence to finance process standards, governance requirements, and organizational policies.
Support process performance measurement through KPI tracking, reporting, and validation activities across finance operations.
Contribute to master data governance and financial systems management, including chart of accounts, SAP, and Business Warehouse reporting tools.
Leverage automation technologies, analytics platforms, and digital tools to improve productivity, reduce manual effort, and enhance reporting accuracy.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice adoption across teams to strengthen finance capabilities and process excellence.
CA or CMA qualification is required.
3 to 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Controlling, Finance Operations, or related areas.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Experience with SAP and exposure to business intelligence platforms such as Power BI or Tableau; knowledge of SQL is preferred.
Sound understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling processes.
Interest in finance digitalization, automation, and emerging technologies, including AI and ML applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global environment.
