Position: HR Intern
Department: Human Resources
Location: Mumbai
Employment Type: Internship | Full-Time
Duration: 3–6 Months
Stipend: As per candidate profile and interview performance

We are looking for an enthusiastic and people-oriented HR Intern who is keen to build practical experience across recruitment, employee engagement, HR operations and talent management.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent Acquisition

Assist in sourcing candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media and other recruitment channels.
Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Maintain candidate databases and recruitment trackers.
Assist in preparing and posting job descriptions.

HR Operations

Assist with day-to-day HR administration and documentation.
Maintain employee records and HR databases.
Support onboarding and induction activities for new employees.
Assist in preparing HR reports, trackers and MIS.
Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information.

Employee Engagement

Support planning and execution of employee engagement activities.
Assist in organizing internal meetings, events, celebrations and team-building initiatives.
Help gather employee feedback and support initiatives to improve employee experience.

Learning & Development

Assist in coordinating training and development programs.
Support faculty/staff development initiatives where required.
Maintain training participation and feedback records.

Employer Branding & HR Marketing

Assist in creating HR-related content for LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment campaigns.
Help promote GIBMS Business School as an attractive workplace for talented professionals.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is:

Pursuing or has completed a BBA, BMS, BBM, MBA, PGDM, or equivalent qualification, preferably with an HR specialization.
Passionate about Human Resources and working with people.
Good at communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable using MS Office / Google Workspace.
Organized, proactive and willing to learn.
Comfortable communicating with candidates and employees over phone, email and messaging platforms.
Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
A positive, professional and team-oriented individual.
