Telecaller / Inside Sales Executive — Athlevate Sports pvt ltd

Location: Bengaluru (Thanisandra)

Type: Full-time | 6 days a week (weekend working mandatory; weekday off)

Reports to: Head of Growth Experience: 1–3 years in telecalling, inside sales, or customer success Compensation: 20K + commission

Role Summary

You own the phone. Every enquiry that comes in through our ads, website, walk-ins, or referrals lands with you, and your job is to turn that enquiry into a booked demo class, the demo into an enrollment, and the enrollment into a long-term renewal. This is a target-driven role for someone who enjoys talking to people, is comfortable with parents, and follows up relentlessly without being pushy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Calling & Qualification

Call all new leads within the defined response time
Qualify each lead: child's age, location/proximity to centre, preferred batch timing, parent's intent and budget fit.
Log every call outcome, disposition, and next action in the CRM/lead tracker — no lead left untouched or un-updated.

2. Demo Class Booking & Follow-Up

Convert qualified leads into scheduled demo/trial class bookings.
Send confirmations and reminders over WhatsApp/SMS; call to reconfirm a day before and on the day of the demo.
Reduce demo no-shows through proactive reminder calls and rescheduling of drop-offs.

3. Conversion to Subscription

Follow up with parents post-demo, address queries on fee structure, batch options, coaching methodology, safety, and progression pathway.
Explain packages, offers, and payment options clearly and accurately; assist parents through the enrollment and payment process.
Maintain a structured follow-up cadence for undecided parents (Day 1, Day 3, Day 7 and beyond) rather than a single call attempt.

4. Renewals & Retention

Track upcoming subscription expiries and call parents ahead of renewal dates to secure timely renewals.
Win back lapsed and dropped-out students through re-engagement calls.
Make periodic check-in and feedback calls to existing parents; flag dissatisfaction, attendance drop-offs, or coaching concerns to the Centre Manager early.

5. Data & Reporting

Maintain clean, accurate lead and student data — contact details, stage, source, and disposition.
Share a daily calling report and a weekly summary of demos booked, conversions, and renewals with the Centre Manager.
Flag lead quality issues and recurring parent objections back to the marketing team so campaigns can be improved.

Requirements

Must have

1–3 years of telecalling, inside sales, or customer support experience (freshers with strong communication may be considered).
Fluency in English and Kannada; Hindi strongly preferred. Tamil/Telugu is an added advantage.
Comfortable working with parents — patient, warm, and able to build trust quickly over the phone.
Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and any CRM or lead management tool.
Willingness to work weekends (our busiest enquiry and demo days) with a weekday off.
Discipline to follow a structured follow-up cadence and maintain daily reporting.

Good to have

Prior experience in a sports academy, preschool, edtech, fitness, or kids' activity business.
Experience handling leads from Meta/Google ad campaigns.
Familiarity with WhatsApp Business or automated messaging tools.

What We Offer

Fixed salary plus an uncapped monthly incentive linked to enrollments and renewals.
A clear growth path towards Assistant Centre Manager / Centre Manager as we expand to new locations.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
