About the Role
Kotylidon Lab Private Limited is looking for a dynamic, target-oriented, and field-focused Field Procurement Executive to strengthen our procurement and supplier network.
The selected candidate will be responsible for visiting agricultural markets, vegetable mandis, farmers, traders, wholesalers, meat suppliers, poultry suppliers, and other food suppliers to identify reliable sources and procure products at competitive market rates.
The role involves supplier development, price negotiation, market research, relationship management, and procurement coordination across multiple product categories, including vegetables, grains, pulses, meat, and eggs.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable with extensive field travel and should have strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities1. Field Procurement & Sourcing
- Visit vegetable mandis, agricultural markets, farms, wholesalers, traders, and supplier locations on a regular basis.
- Identify reliable farmers, agents, traders, wholesalers, and food suppliers.
- Source fresh vegetables, grains, pulses, meat, eggs, and other food products at competitive rates.
- Develop a strong network of direct farmers and suppliers.
- Identify new procurement opportunities in different markets and locations.
- Ensure consistent availability of required products and quantities.
2. Supplier Development
- Introduce the company and its procurement requirements to potential suppliers.
- Generate new supplier leads through regular field visits.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with farmers, mandi agents, traders, wholesalers, meat suppliers, poultry suppliers, and other vendors.
- Onboard suitable suppliers according to company requirements.
- Maintain regular communication with active suppliers.
3. Price Negotiation & Market Research
- Collect daily/regular market prices for assigned products.
- Compare prices across different mandis, farmers, traders, and suppliers.
- Negotiate the best possible purchase rates while maintaining required quality standards.
- Monitor changes in market prices, seasonal availability, and supply conditions.
- Provide accurate market-rate information to the procurement team.
- Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs.
4. Product Quality & Availability
- Verify the quality, freshness, quantity, and availability of products before procurement.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure products meet company requirements.
- Report any quality, quantity, or supply-related issues to the procurement team.
- Develop reliable suppliers capable of providing consistent quality and volume.
5. Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate closely with the Procurement, Operations, and Management teams.
- Provide daily field reports covering:
- Supplier visits
- New supplier leads
- Product availability
- Market prices
- Negotiated rates
- Expected quantities
- Supplier details
- Quality observations
- Maintain accurate records of supplier information and market intelligence.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding upcoming requirements and deliveries.
6. Business Development
- Continuously expand the company's supplier network.
- Identify new farmers, mandis, traders, wholesalers, and specialized suppliers.
- Develop direct procurement channels wherever commercially viable.
- Convert qualified supplier leads into long-term business relationships.
- Support the company in developing an efficient and cost-effective food procurement network.

Candidate RequirementsEducational Qualification
- 12th Pass / Graduate.
- Candidates with a background in Agriculture, Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, FMCG, or related fields will be preferred.

Mobility Requirements

- Fuel/Travel Allowance will be provided as per company policy.
Compensation & Benefits
Monthly Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000
