Product Manager – CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)

Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience

Location: Coimbatore

Immediate joiner required

We are looking for a data-driven Product Manager – E commerce, Conversion & Growth to own the conversion performance of our Shopify storefront. The role focuses on CRO, analytics, A/B testing, UX, and E commerce growth, working closely with Design, Engineering, Marketing, Merchandising, and CX teams.

Key Responsibilities

Own and optimize the complete ecommerce funnel — Landing Page, Category, PDP, Cart, Checkout, and Post-Purchase.
Analyze CVR, funnel drop-offs, revenue, AOV, RPS/RPV, customer behavior, merchandising, acquisition, and technical performance metrics.
Use GA4, Amplitude/Mixpanel/Heap, SQL, session recordings, heatmaps, surveys, and customer feedback to identify conversion opportunities.
Build and prioritize a CRO opportunity backlog based on impact, confidence, and effort.
Own the A/B testing roadmap, including hypothesis creation, test design, sample-size planning, QA, statistical analysis, and experiment reporting.
Monitor statistical significance, power, confidence intervals, sample ratio mismatch, novelty effects, and concurrent test interactions.
Define and maintain KPI frameworks, tracking plans, metric definitions, data governance, and performance alerts.
Work with Design on UI/UX frameworks, wireframes, user flows, design systems, mobile-first experiences, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals.
Create PRDs, acceptance criteria, experiment readouts, dashboards, SOPs, and runbooks.
Build self-service dashboards using Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.
Partner with Engineering and Shopify teams to improve storefront performance, tracking, checkout, and customer experience.
Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership and drive decisions based on data.
Enable Marketing, Merchandising, and CX teams to use dashboards and follow ecommerce workflows independently.

Required Skills & Experience

3–5 years of Product Management experience, with at least 2 years in Ecommerce/DTC.
Hands-on experience with CRO, ecommerce funnel analysis, and A/B testing.
Strong experience with Shopify / Shopify Plus, including themes, checkout, and app ecosystem.
Proficiency in GA4 and at least one product analytics tool such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Heap.
Working knowledge of SQL, GTM, dataLayer, event tracking, and debugging.
Experience with Figma, wireframes, user flows, and UI/UX principles.
Experience with experimentation/behavioral tools such as Optimizely, VWO, Convert, Hotjar, Contentsquare, FullStory, or Microsoft Clarity.
Experience building BI dashboards and KPI frameworks.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, Jira/Linear/Asana, and Confluence/Notion.
Excellent analytical, prioritization, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with Shopify Hydrogen/Oxygen or headless commerce.
Knowledge of Klaviyo, Attentive, subscriptions, memberships, replenishment, or multi-storefronts.
Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA, server-side tracking, Shopify Customer Events/Web Pixels, Segment/RudderStack.
Knowledge of incrementality testing, Media Mix Modeling, or advanced attribution.
CRO/GA4/Optimizely certifications.
Basic HTML/CSS/Liquid knowledge.
