Full job description

We are looking for a Support / Implementation Engineer to support the implementation, configuration, deployment, and ongoing technical support of our enterprise HR & Payroll application. The role involves working closely with customers to understand requirements, configure the application, support data migration and integrations, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate with internal development successful implementation, stable production operations and providing technical support to the clients.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation

Understand customer business requirements and translate them into application configurations.
Configure HR, Payroll, other application modules based on customer requirements.
Support new customer implementations, upgrades, migrations, and system rollouts.
Assist with data migration, data validation, and data reconciliation.
Prepare and maintain implementation-related documentation and configuration records.
Support UAT activities, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with customers during testing.
Support production go-live activities and post-go-live stabilization.

Application & Technical Support

Provide L1/L2 application and technical support to customers.
Analyse and troubleshoot application errors, functional issues, performance problems, and failures.
Investigate issues using application logs, database logs, and monitoring tools.
Reproduce reported issues in test/UAT environments and provide detailed findings.
Execute SQL queries and approved scripts for troubleshooting, data validation, and support activities.
Perform troubleshooting from the backend SQL (SQL Server, Azure SQL Database)
Support application configuration, deployments, and production maintenance activities.
Participate in production deployments, migrations, and planned maintenance activities.
Communicate directly with customers to understand issues and provide technical assistance.
Manage support tickets and ensure timely resolution within agreed SLA timelines.
Maintain clear documentation of incidents, troubleshooting activities, root causes, and resolutions.
Identify recurring problems and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Escalate complex issues with sufficient technical analysis and supporting information.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Good knowledge of SQL Server, including queries, joins, stored procedures, and data troubleshooting.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Good communication and customer-facing skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with multiple teams.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
