Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Front Office Supervisor with hands-on experience in the IDS Hotel Management System to oversee front desk operations and ensure exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate will supervise the front office team, manage guest check-ins and check-outs, handle reservations, and ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining high hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the daily operations of the front office and reception team.
Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, room allocations, and billing using the IDS Hotel Management System.
Handle reservations, room availability, cancellations, and guest inquiries.
Ensure accurate guest records, billing, and payment processing.
Resolve guest complaints and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
Coordinate with housekeeping, reservations, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Train, mentor, and monitor front office staff to maintain service excellence.
Prepare daily reports, occupancy reports, and shift handover reports.
Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, safety standards, and company policies.
Assist in maximizing room occupancy and revenue through effective room management.

Required Skills

Proficiency in the IDS Hotel Management System.
Strong knowledge of front office operations and guest relations.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Leadership and team management abilities.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Basic knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

Experience

1-3 years of experience in front office operations within a hotel or resort.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience using the IDS Hotel Management System is preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
