In this position, you are responsible for the management of product conformity assessment.

As a Senior Engineer II, Conformity Assessment, you ensure that Schneider Electric's products, systems, and services comply with regulatory and standard requirements throughout their lifecycle.
- You develop and implement conformity assessment strategies, consult with business units, and maintain governance.
- You work closely with external organizations and internal teams to manage compliance demands, streamline processes, and stay informed of regulatory changes and market trends to guide strategic adjustments. Additionally, you manage offer compliance data to ensure continuous alignment with industry standards.
- You apply specialized technical expertise in conformity assessment to address complex challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- You contribute to the design and implementation of technical processes and policies related to regulatory compliance and standards.
- You use moderate to advanced technical knowledge of conformity assessment to directly influence results. While you make decisions about your work and priorities in situations that can sometimes be ambiguous, your decisions are often guided by established precedents, experience, policies, practices, and procedures.
- You set your work priorities independently, providing guidance to other professionals as needed.
- Your work requires minimal supervision, and you seek guidance when necessary to ensure successful outcomes.

You’ll work with several internal function and as well with national and international Certification Bodies, with the goal to achieve offer compliance, to ensure the market access and furthermore to differentiate the offer of Schneider Electric.
The major focus of this position will be on certificates and declaration of Home solution offers starting with switches, Sockets, Electronic switches, USB chargers, Fan regulators and boxes.

Planning, Monitoring and Executing of the conformity assessment activities according to applicable standards and statutory requirements (beside other: LVD, EMC, RED, ATEX, Blue Guide…)

IEC 60669-1 / IS 3854 - Electromechanical switch
IS/IEC 60669-2-1- Electronic switch
IS/IEC 62368 - USB Charger
IS 10322 Part 5 Section 1 - Night foot lamp
EN 300 328 - RF Std for connected products testing for WPC & TEC
EN 301 489-17- EMC for connected products
IS 11037 - Electronic Fan regulator
IEC 60670-1 / IS 14772 - Enclosures (Wall mounted plastic / metal boxes)
Management Certification strategy and test plan for India Quality Control orders from DPIIT series of product as per Scheme I, II & X of BIS certification.
Profile Engineer in Electrical or alternate education with at least 10 years of experience. Following competencies are expected:
- This position requests soft skills such as: agile, curious, organized, rigorous, resilient and diplomat. You need to be able to come to compromises and you can push strongly when required. It’s all about ensure the compliance of our offer.
- Knowledge in application of Statutory Instruments and Standards
- Knowledge in conformity assessment for national and international market
- Knowledge about the offer and its technology is an advantage
- Mastering English language is mandatory
If these competencies are not fully mastered yet, a training plan will be defined.
