Job Purpose
Product Cost and Capex Controller for AG India is responsible for Product Cost Analysis, tracking Price Increase/ Decrease for RM and any change through Engineering BOM. Approvals and evaluations related to Capex and Revenue spending; Monitor market trends and price estimations.
Key Responsibilities
Primary and Secondary duties:
Prepare and present monthly product cost analyses highlighting key cost drivers and variances on Key Models.
Update standard costing for FG and RM, including daily updation and annual cost rollovers.
Perform inventory valuation and analyze month-on-month and inventory fluctuations for forecasting and budgeting purposes.
Develop cost estimates for budgets, forecasts, quotations, and price-setting activities, while conducting variance and efficiency analyses and supporting all core costing functions.
Evaluate the monthly impacts against forecast/Budget along with PD/Purchase controlling team for tracking price and engineering changes.
Evaluate and monitor capital expenditure (Capex) projects, track actual spending against approved budgets/forecast, identify delays, recommend corrective actions, and ensure compliance with spending limits.
Support with data in monthly/ annual closing, preparing Standard evaluation/analyses.
Timely provides support/ information to various functions like Business Managers, Taxation, Marketing/ Commercial Controller and other Corporate Functions etc.
Prepare COGS report for Export shipments and share with Central team.
Calculate and share Transfer Prices of FG to Export Team timely.
Analyze Depreciation Act vs consider in Forecast/Budget.
Analysis and Validation of Cost saving projects.
Track Intercompany Price change throughout year and triggered impact (if any).
Support Purchasing team in capacity increase project assessment i.e., Make Buy evaluation etc.
Leadership/Team Management Responsibility:
Work closing with Purchase Controller to keep the Raw Material assumptions aligned
Work closely related to price changes along with Purchasing Buyers in a logical and transparent manner
Experience Required
Should have 4 to 5 years of experience in finance controlling preferably in Manufacturing/ Purchase domain
Should be able to demonstrate good teamwork with exposure to various operating functions
Should be able to perform project/ investment evaluation
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrate ability to analyze, consolidate & interpret financial data
Preferred Qualifications
CA/ ICWA/ MBA Finance (from reputed college)
