Job Title: Store Executive

Industry: Construction / Real Estate

Job Location: Pune ( Dighi, Dhanori , Alandi)

Experience: 4–7 Years

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Store Executive to manage site store operations for our construction projects in Pune. The ideal candidate should have 4–7 years of experience in the Construction/Real Estate industry, with strong knowledge of inventory management, material handling, ERP systems, and procurement coordination. The role involves ensuring the timely availability of construction materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting smooth site operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesStore & Inventory Management

Manage the day-to-day operations of the site store, ensuring smooth receipt, storage, and issuance of construction materials.
Maintain optimum inventory levels and ensure the availability of materials required for ongoing projects.
Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and raise material requirements to avoid shortages.
Update material stock, receipts, issues, and inventory transactions in the ERP system on a daily basis.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile inventory with system records.

Material Procurement & Coordination

Prepare material indents and purchase requisitions with appropriate justifications, budget references, and material codes.
Coordinate with the purchase team for material ordering, transfers, and timely deliveries.
Follow up with vendors for pending deliveries as per purchase orders.
Verify delivery challans, Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), and material issue entries.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure uninterrupted material supply at site.

Material Handling & Quality Control

Inspect incoming materials for quality, quantity, and compliance with purchase specifications.
Ensure proper material handling, storage, stacking, and preservation to prevent damage and wastage.
Monitor material consumption and implement measures to reduce wastage and improve inventory control.
Identify slow-moving and non-moving inventory and initiate timely corrective actions.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of receipts, issues, stock registers, challans, GRNs, and inventory transactions.
Generate daily, monthly, and quarterly inventory and material consumption reports.
Monitor material usage against project requirements and report discrepancies to management.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and store procedures.

Coordination & Compliance

Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, procurement teams, and vendors for smooth store operations.
Ensure adherence to company policies, inventory control procedures, and safety standards within the store.
Support periodic audits and stock verification activities.

Required Qualifications

Graduate or Diploma holder in any discipline (preferred).
4–7 years of relevant experience as a Store Executive in the Construction or Real Estate industry (mandatory).
Hands-on experience in construction material inventory management and store operations.
ERP software experience is mandatory.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Familiarity with GRN, material issue, stock reconciliation, inventory control, and purchase processes.
Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

Strong analytical and inventory management skills.
Knowledge of construction materials and site store operations.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.

Preference

Candidates with prior experience in Construction or Real Estate companies will be given preference.
Immediate joiners will be preferred.
