Job Description: Operator – Diploma

Department: Production / Operations
Location: Femps Fabtech pvt ltd
Reports To: Shift Supervisor / Production Manager

Job Summary

The Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. The role involves adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintaining production records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Operate production machinery and equipment as per SOPs.
Monitor machine performance and process parameters.
Perform routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions or quality issues.
Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
Maintain accurate production and shift records.
Follow safety, health, and environmental (SHE) guidelines.
Maintain housekeeping as per 5S standards.
Assist in machine setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting.
Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime.

Qualification

Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience are eligible.

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and machinery.
Understanding of safety and quality standards.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
