Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized Quality Check (QC) Executive to join our Background Verification (BGV) Operations team. In this role, you will act as the final line of defense ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity before reports are released to clients. You will be responsible for meticulously auditing verification files, validating data entries against supporting evidence, and ensuring all checks meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities1. Report Auditing & Data Validation

Conduct comprehensive quality checks on finalized background verification cases including employment, education, address, and criminal record checks (CRC).
Cross-verify system-entered data against physical/digital proof documents to eliminate typos, mismatches, or reporting errors.
Validate the integrity of digital verifications (such as UAN database matches, corporate email verifications, and digital court record logs).

2. Compliance & Standards Enforcement

Ensure all audited files comply strictly with ISO standards, company operating procedures, and client-specific criteria.
Identify, flag, and log discrepancies, structural errors, or insufficiencies in report data, sending them back to the verification team for rectification.
Maintain an absolute zero-error threshold for critical data fields before final client delivery.

3. Operational Efficiency & TAT Management

Manage a high daily volume of files inside the e-portal tracking system without compromising audit quality.
Work closely with cross-functional operations and verification teams to resolve flagged issues quickly and keep turnaround times (TAT) within the hard 48-to-72-hour window.
Contribute to daily/weekly quality performance reports for operations management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 1–3 years of core experience in Quality Check (QC) / Quality Assurance (QA) roles specifically within the Background Verification (BGV) industry. Freshers are also welcome.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of standard Indian BGV matrices (including employment verification workflows, UAN checking, and court/police record verifications).
Technical Savvy: High comfort level working with web-based operational portals, databases, and e-portal dashboards. Excellent command of MS Office (especially Excel).
Attention to Detail: Exceptional proofreading and analytical skills; the ability to spot minute discrepancies in large volumes of text and data.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relay errors and feedback to the operations team.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

Zero Leakage: Maintaining a 99.9% accuracy rate with zero incorrect reports delivered to clients.
Queue Flow: Consistently clearing the daily allocated QC pipeline to prevent downstream bottlenecks in delivery.
Process Improvement: Proactively identifying recurring data errors in the verification team and suggesting automated workflow checks to eliminate them.
