We are looking for you,
to join our Sourcing & Trading team in Mumbai
You will focus on building and leading strategic growth in India to develop a long-term competitive advantage for Neste, strengthening our feedstock supply position in India and South Asia. In this job, you will work closely with cross-functional teams both in and outside the country, including local Supply, Logistics & Operations (L&O), Finance, and Public Affairs, as well as external feedstock producers, logistics providers, and government authorities.
In our team, you will lead a dynamic matrix setup, aligning local employees and key stakeholders to navigate complex market conditions and shape the Used Cooking Oil (UCO) feedstock industry. Together with your expertise, we can do meaningful work to drive Neste forward.

Your role in our team
Sustainability & Compliance Leadership: Actively collaborate with suppliers to drive sustainability initiatives. Ensure 100% adherence to the Neste Supplier Code of Conduct through regular audits, supplier engagement, and transparent reporting. Champion the integration of sustainable practices across the supply ecosystem.
Manage Supply Ecosystem: Build and maintain deep relationships with key suppliers. Expand the supplier pool while vetting potential partners against strict sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria.
Execute Sourcing Strategy: Design and implement robust sourcing strategies for the region. Oversee logistics, contract negotiations, and execution to secure consistent volume at optimized costs, contributing to the medium- and long-term security of the value chain.
Market Intelligence & Advocacy: Provide critical market analysis and identify emerging trading opportunities. Represent Neste’s sustainability values externally, positioning the company as a leader in responsible feedstock management.
Strategic Decision-Making: Independently manage purchase decisions within contract approval standards, prioritize entity resources toward urgent projects or strategic developments, and make portfolio adjustments to optimize total value (TCO, Quality, Reliability).
Keys to success in this role / The best combination to succeed in this role
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in procurement, biofuel feedstock supply, or commodity trading. Knowledge of energy markets is a plus.
Responsible attitude and safety-oriented mindset.
