Candidates with more than 2 years' experience will be considered for our Consultant Physician role instead. Compensation Competitive, commensurate with qualification and experience — for discussion at interview. Openings 1-2 About BAHRC The Bhaktivedanta Ayurvedic Healing Research Centre (BAHRC) is ISKCON Navi Mumbai's integrative Ayurveda, Yoga, Mantra & Wellness centre at the Glory of Maharashtra Temple, Kharghar — a 10,000 sq. ft. facility offering doctor and nutritionist consultations, Panchakarma therapies, and seven signature Wellness Programmes, alongside annual wellness memberships and the Sudama Seva community outreach initiative. Role Overview We are looking for a motivated, recently qualified BAMS graduate to join BAHRC as a Junior Ayurveda Doctor. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher or early-career physician to build hands-on clinical experience — OPD consultations, Panchakarma case management, and patient care — under the close mentorship of BAHRC's Senior Medical Consultants and RMO, in a structured, values-led wellness environment. Key Responsibilities ● Support day-to-day OPD consultations, including preliminary patient assessment (history-taking, vitals, triage), under the supervision of the Senior Medical Consultant/RMO on duty. ● Assist in preparing and reviewing individualised treatment and Panchakarma plans, and monitor patients during therapy sessions for any adverse reaction, escalating promptly per BAHRC's Emergency & Medical Contingency Policy. ● Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential patient records, case notes, and consent documentation, per BAHRC's Patient/Member Data Privacy Policy. ● Coordinate with therapists to ensure therapy is delivered as prescribed, and with the Nutritionist for integrated dietary advice. ● Support patient screening and basic consultations during BAHRC's Sudama Seva outreach camps and community health initiatives, as scheduled. ● Participate actively in case discussions, CME sessions, and training organised by BAHRC/BVCE to build clinical competence. ● Follow BAHRC's Patient & Customer Safety Standards at all times, including a strict no cure/disease-reversal claims policy, and the Therapy Room, Hygiene & Chaperone Policy. ● Provide basic administrative support to the clinical team (e.g., follow-up scheduling, referral coordination) as required. Requirements & Qualifications ● Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from a recognised institution, with a valid State/Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM/NCISM) registration. ● 0-2 years of clinical experience post-BAMS (including internship); candidates who have recently completed their compulsory rotatory internship are encouraged to apply. ● Basic working knowledge of Panchakarma principles and classical Ayurvedic diagnosis (Nadi Parikshan, Prakriti/Vikriti assessment) is preferred. ● Willingness to learn, take clinical direction from senior physicians, and grow within a structured mentorship environment. ● Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and/or Marathi; genuine empathy and patient-centred approach. ● Comfortable working in a temple-based, values-led wellness environment; participation in devotional practice is welcomed but never required. ● Willingness to work six days a week (Tuesday-Sunday) across two daily clinic sessions. What You'll Gain ● Structured, hands-on mentorship from BAHRC's Senior Medical Consultants and RMO across general medicine, Panchakarma, and specialised OBGYN/fertility care. ● Broad early-career clinical exposure across metabolic, digestive, musculoskeletal, gynaecological, and lifestyle-disorder cases. ● A clear growth path — strong performers may be considered for BAHRC's Consultant Physician role as they cross the 2-year experience mark. ● Experience working within a research-oriented institution, with exposure to BAHRC/BVCE's case-documentation and CME activities. Terms ● This is a full-time role governed by the BAHRC HR & Operations Policy Manual, including a standard 6-month probation period, notice periods, leave entitlement, and statutory benefits applicable to full-time payroll employees. ● Compensation will be discussed at interview and confirmed in the offer letter, based on qualification and experience. How to Apply Interested candidates may apply directly via this job posting, or send their resume to [email protected] with the subject line "Application — Junior Ayurveda Doctor."
