Job Summary

We are seeking a GeM Executive – Hardware & Manpower Bidding to manage end-to-end Government e-Marketplace (GeM) bidding operations for IT hardware procurement and manpower outsourcing projects.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in identifying government tender opportunities, preparing technical and commercial bids, ensuring tender compliance, coordinating with OEMs and distributors, and managing the complete bid lifecycle. Experience in IT hardware procurement, government procurement procedures, and manpower outsourcing tenders is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and monitor GeM and other government tender opportunities on a daily basis.
Manage end-to-end bidding for IT Hardware, Networking, CCTV, UPS, Printers, Laptops, Desktops, Servers, Software, and Manpower Services.
Review tender documents, BOQs, ATCs, eligibility criteria, and technical specifications.
Prepare technical compliance sheets and commercial bid documentation.
Coordinate with OEMs, distributors, and vendors to obtain quotations, OEM Authorization Letters, MAFs, product datasheets, and compliance certificates.
Ensure compliance with bid requirements including EMD, PBG, Make in India, BIS, EPR, ISO Certifications, and other statutory documentation.
Participate in reverse auctions and manage bid submissions within specified timelines.
Maintain tender trackers, documentation, bid records, and project status reports.
Coordinate with procurement, sales, finance, and technical teams for successful bid execution.
Support post-award activities including purchase orders, deliveries, installation coordination, invoicing, and project documentation.
Build strong working relationships with government departments, OEMs, suppliers, and channel partners.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in GeM bidding, government procurement, or tender management.
Experience handling IT Hardware and Manpower Outsourcing tenders.
Strong understanding of GeM portal operations and government procurement procedures.
Experience preparing technical compliance sheets and tender documentation.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and documentation tools.
Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple tenders and work under strict deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Government Departments, PSUs, Cooperative Banks, or Educational Institutions.
Knowledge of MAF, OEM Authorization, BIS, EPR, Make in India, ISO documentation, and reverse auctions.
Familiarity with OEM products such as HP, Dell, Lenovo, Acer, Canon, Epson, Cisco, D-Link, Hikvision, CP Plus, APC, Vertiv, and similar brands.
Strong documentation and negotiation skills.
