JD –Test Lead Summary Experienced Automation Test Lead with strong expertise in the Pharmacy domain, leading end-to-end test automation initiatives across System Integration Testing (SIT), Functional Testing, API Testing, and Regression Testing. Proven track record of defining automation strategies, establishing scalable automation frameworks, and driving quality assurance across complex enterprise and cloud-based /Saas applications. Skilled in leading QA teams, collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and product owners to deliver high-quality software solutions. Adept at integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, improving test coverage, accelerating release cycles, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and best practices. Skills & Competencies Proficient in automation tools and frameworks including Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber BDD Strong programming skills in Java, .NET, JavaScript, and automation framework development. Extensive experience leading Automation Testing activities for Functional, Mobile App, Regression, End-to-End, and System Integration Testing (SIT). Strong expertise in defining automation strategies, test roadmaps, governance, and best practices across projects. Expertise in API automation testing using Postman, Rest Assured, Swagger, and similar tools. Strong Data Lake, SQL, and database validation skills for backend testing, data reconciliation, and data quality verification. Experience designing, implementing, and governing enterprise-scale automation frameworks and reusable test assets. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and automated quality gates. Strong understanding of cloud-based platforms, SaaS solutions, and integration testing strategies. Experience in test environment management, test data management, release validation, and production readiness assessments. Proficient in defect management, root cause analysis, risk-based testing, and quality reporting. Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and SAFe delivery models with strong stakeholder management capabilities. Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring automation engineers and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Ability to identify automation opportunities, optimize testing processes, reduce manual effort, and improve overall delivery quality. Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills with cross-functional and business teams. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the overall Automation Testing Strategy aligned with project and business objectives. Lead Automation Testing teams across SIT, Functional, Regression, API, Integration, and End-to-End testing activities. Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reusable, and robust automation frameworks. Establish automation standards, governance processes, and best practices across QA teams. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid releases. Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Development teams to understand requirements and define test approaches. Oversee test planning, test estimation, resource allocation, and automation delivery schedules. Drive automation coverage improvements and identify opportunities for increased test efficiency and quality. Review and approve automated test scenarios, test scripts, test results, and quality metrics. Monitor test execution, analyze failures, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate defect resolution activities. Provide regular quality status reporting, test metrics, automation ROI, and release readiness assessments to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with organizational QA standards, security requirements, regulatory obligations, and testing best practices. Mentor and coach automation engineers, promoting technical excellence and continuous learning within the QA team. Support vendor evaluations, tool selection, and automation technology adoption to improve testing maturity and effectiveness. Act as the primary QA lead for stakeholder engagement, risk management, and quality assurance governance throughout the project lifecycle.
