Role Overview

We're looking for an HR Recruiter who can own hiring end to end — from understanding what a hiring manager actually needs, to closing the offer.

This is a hands on role. You'll spend most of your time sourcing, screening, and moving candidates through the pipeline, with real ownership of the roles you're assigned.

What you'll do

- Own full-cycle recruitment for technical and non-technical roles: intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and closing.
- Partner with engineering, product, and sales managers to build clear role scorecards and realistic hiring timelines.
- Source actively through LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri etc.
- Screen candidates for both capability and fit, including a first pass understanding of technical.
- Run a clean, fast process: keep the ATS updated, keep candidates informed, and keep time-to-hire and drop-off rates visible to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring roles so we're not starting from zero each time.
- Represent the employer brand — job posts, careers page content, LinkedIn presence, meetups, and campus events.
- Support onboarding handoff and early-tenure check-ins with the HR team.
- Track and report on hiring metrics: source effectiveness, offer-to-join ratio, pipeline conversion, cost per hire.

What we're looking for

Must-have

- 2 years of recruitment experience, with at least 1 year hiring for IT / software product roles.
- Demonstrated ability to source passively — you can show us how you've found candidates who weren't applying.
- Comfortable holding a credible conversation about technical roles and stacks.
- Strong written and spoken English; Malayalam is a strong plus for local sourcing.
- Hands-on with an ATS (Zoho Recruit, Keka, Darwinbox, or similar) and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Organised and responsive — able to run 8-12 open roles without candidates falling through the cracks.

Nice-to-have

- Experience in a SaaS or product company.
- Exposure to campus hiring in Kerala and Tamil Nadu engineering colleges.
- Familiarity with structured interviewing, scorecards, or hiring manager training.
- Basic understanding of Indian labour compliance, offer structuring, and background verification.
