Full job description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of raw materials, consumables, tools, machinery spare parts, and other operational requirements. The candidate should possess strong vendor management, negotiation, and inventory coordination skills to ensure timely procurement at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate the best commercial terms.
Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and follow up on deliveries.
Procure raw materials, steel items, electrical items, hardware, consumables, machinery spares, and office supplies.
Coordinate with Production, Store, Accounts, and other departments regarding purchase requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted availability of materials.
Track order status and ensure timely delivery from vendors.
Verify invoices, delivery challans, and purchase-related documents.
Maintain accurate purchase records, vendor database, and procurement reports.
Ensure quality and quantity verification of received materials.
Resolve supplier-related issues concerning delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Prepare monthly purchase reports and cost analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

2–3 years of experience as a Purchase Executive or Procurement Executive.
Experience in Manufacturing, Steel, Electrical, Engineering, or Infrastructure Industry will be preferred.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Vendor development and relationship management.
Knowledge of procurement processes and documentation.
Good understanding of inventory management.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ERP/Procurement Software.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good documentation and reporting skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
