Full job description

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- At least 4 yrs of UI development experience in coding and developing web solutions in React JS environment
- Over 5yrs of experience in Javascript
JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be a leading the UI design and development effort as part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing, and launching
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and support complex web apps using JavaScript and React with Redux
- Drive front-end website architecture and user interactions on web apps.
- Develop components and libraries that are reusable and future-proof
- Confident in using UI/UX designs or wire frames to create the respective code and the application
- Use your knowledge on React JS and its life cycle to maximize components performance across different devices and browsers
- Integrate with server-side RESTFUL API and sockets
- Mentor junior engineers in helping review code, guiding on technical decisions
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Experience with Git
- Deep understanding of application development using React Architecture, Hooks, Webpack, JSX, CSS, SASS, and REST API
- Experience in development RWD and SPA with ReactJS, Redux, Routers, j query, Bootstrap, ES6
- Experience in development in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, LESS, GraphQL, Babel, Express, Eslint.
- Understanding SOLID principles
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Good understanding of web sockets
- Test-driven development
- Understanding of design principles and algorithmic skills
- Experience with developing cross-browser web applications
ROLE-BASED SKILLS:
- Drive Agile based methodology in the UI development process.
- Technical end-to-end design for stories by collaborating with business analyst/product owner, technical architect and clients
- Implement stories end-to-end, which includes Front end, Back ends for Front end (BFF), Caching and also service orchestration in some cases) using best engineering practices like test driven development, SOLID principles and consideration of non-functional requirements like performance, scalability, security or cloud readiness (as applicable) at story level
- Automated testing at unit, module and integration level as needed using tools relevant for platform (e.g. Jasmine, Jest, Karma, Web driver.Io etc.)
- Focus on quality by implementing best practices like logging, calling out technical debt, meeting KPI using code quality tools like SonarQube, ESLint (customize and sync with Sonar), Stylelint/Sasslint and so on.
- Hands-on with automating redundant work, like common component structure, both in terms of scaffolding as well as using the right design patterns / creating abstractions.
- Hands-on with devops pipeline and able to tweak/change build/deployment pipeline as needed in context of a module (e.g. Jenkins / Travis / Now.sh / Bit Bucket/Git lab)
EDUCATIOIN

BS/MS, BTech/BE in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or relevant field
