About Us
The Smile Clinic is a specialist-led multispeciality dental and implantology centre in Whitefield, Bengaluru, led by Dr. Benjamin George Mathew (BDS, MDS – Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery) along with specialists in root canal, orthodontics, and periodontics. We serve families and professionals across the Whitefield corridor.

Location: Borewell Road, Whitefield, Bengaluru
Job Type: Full-time
Reports To: Clinic Owner / Doctor-in-charge

Role Summary
We're looking for a warm, organized, and dependable front desk receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients — on calls, on WhatsApp, and in person. This role is critical to patient experience and directly impacts how many enquiries convert into booked appointments.

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls and WhatsApp enquiries promptly and professionally
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments across doctors and treatments
Greet and check in walk-in patients; manage the waiting area experience
Collect and record new patient intake forms (medical history, allergies, consent) accurately
Handle price/cost enquiries by guiding patients toward booking a paid consultation, without quoting treatment prices over the phone
Send appointment reminders and follow-up messages using clinic-approved message templates
Maintain accurate daily appointment logs and patient records
Coordinate with doctors and assistants on daily schedules and patient flow
Handle basic billing/collection at the front desk and maintain daily cash/payment records
Maintain a clean, professional front desk and waiting area at all times

Requirements

Prior experience as a receptionist/front office executive, preferably in a clinic, hospital, or hospitality setting (dental/medical experience preferred but not mandatory)
Excellent spoken English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada; polite, patient-first phone manner
Comfortable using WhatsApp Business, basic scheduling software/spreadsheets, and smartphones
Strong attention to detail and follow-through — no dropped calls or missed follow-ups
Punctual, well-groomed, and dependable — this is a front-of-house role
Ability to stay calm and courteous under pressure (busy clinic days, walk-ins, phone queues)

Preferred

Experience with appointment scheduling or patient management software
Prior experience handling patient billing/collections

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
