Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Executive with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on accounting experience and strong expertise in BUSY Accounting Software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, GST and TDS compliance, financial reporting, MIS, accounts payable/receivable, inventory accounting, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Core Accounting & Busy Software Management

Manage end-to-end accounting operations using Busy Accounting Software (Voucher Entry, Ledger Scrutiny, Bank Reconciliation, and Year-End Closing).
Maintain accurate multi-company, multi-currency, and multi-location accounts in Busy.
Implement and oversee Inventory Management in Busy, including batch tracking, stock valuation, and BOM (Bill of Materials), and stock transfers.

2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

Prepare, verify, and file GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and perform monthly GSTR-2B reconciliations.
Calculate and ensure timely deposit/filing of TDS / TCS, including issuing Form 16/16A.
Assist management in preparing data for Income Tax filings, tax audits, and statutory audits.
Ensure full compliance with local financial and tax regulations.

3. Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements).
Generate customized MIS reports using busy software to provide management with actionable insights on cash flow, sales, and expenses.
Conduct regular trial balance reviews and ledger reconciliations (Vendors, Customers, and Banks).

4. Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)

Monitor vendor payments, reconcile vendor statements, and optimize cash outflow.
Track outstanding customer receivables, manage aging reports, and coordinate follow-ups for timely collections.
Handle payroll accounting, employee expense reimbursements, and salary disbursements.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or equivalent (CA Inter/IPCC is a plus).
Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven accounting experience.
Software Skills:
Expert-level proficiency in Busy Accounting Software (mandatory).
Strong command of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas).
Familiarity with other ERP tools or Tally is a plus.
Tax Knowledge: In-depth working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and standard accounting principles (GAAP/Ind AS).
Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, high attention to detail, excellent communication, and strong time-management skills.
