Role Overview
Minerra Health is seeking a Population Health & Healthcare Analytics Analyst to support population health research, patient risk stratification, ROI modeling, healthcare analytics, and business research across our obesity and metabolic health platform.
The role will work closely with Minerra’s Product, Clinical, Data, Client Success, and Commercial teams to analyze healthcare populations, identify risk and care opportunities, evaluate clinical and financial outcomes, and translate data into actionable insights.
Experience in healthcare, obesity, metabolic health, diabetes, or chronic disease management is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Population Health & Risk Stratification
- Analyze clinical, demographic, behavioral, engagement, utilization, and socioeconomic data.
- Support development and refinement of patient/member risk-stratification models.
- Identify population segments requiring different levels of clinical or engagement intervention.
- Analyze factors influencing treatment adherence, care progression, disengagement, and healthcare utilization.
- Support cohort, segmentation, trend, and longitudinal analyses.
ROI & Outcomes Modeling
- Support development of ROI, cost-impact, and total-cost-of-care models for employers, payers, and health systems.
- Analyze program impact across healthcare utilization, medical and pharmacy costs, engagement, and clinical outcomes.
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses.
- Research and validate assumptions used in economic and outcomes models.
- Support preparation of client-facing value and outcomes analyses.
Population Health & SDOH Research
- Conduct research on obesity, metabolic disease, chronic conditions, healthcare utilization, and treatment pathways.
- Analyze Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) and barriers to access, engagement, and treatment.
- Perform literature reviews, competitive research, and healthcare market research.
- Support qualitative research including surveys, interviews, and stakeholder feedback.
- Summarize research findings into clear recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis across healthcare datasets.
- Work with claims, pharmacy, clinical, EHR, eligibility, engagement, and operational data where available.
- Develop analytical datasets, dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Support definition and tracking of program KPIs and outcomes.
- Partner with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to translate analytical requirements into scalable technology and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in healthcare analytics, population health, healthcare research, health economics, consulting, data analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Understanding of: Population health, Risk stratification, healthcare outcomes, ROI/economic modeling, and Social Determinants of Health
- Strong skills in Excel and at least one analytical tool such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Ability to analyze complex information and communicate findings clearly.
- Strong research, documentation, and presentation skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in obesity, metabolic health, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or chronic-condition management.
- Experience with U.S. healthcare, including employers, payers, health systems, or digital-health programs.
- Familiarity with claims, pharmacy, clinical, or healthcare utilization data.
- Exposure to health economics, outcomes research, predictive analytics, or healthcare AI/ML.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Data Science, Health Informatics, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
Working Model
- India-based role supporting Minerra’s U.S. and India teams.
- Collaboration with Product, Clinical, Data, Engineering, Client Success, and Commercial teams.
- Some overlap with U.S. Eastern Time will be required for key meetings and project collaboration.

Pay: ₹1,424,033.00 - ₹2,848,066.00 per year
