Key Responsibilities
• Semiconductor Product validation Develop and execute validation plans, test cases, and test strategies based on product requirements.
• Design and implement automated test frameworks for functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing.
- Develop automation scripts to improve test coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
- Validate firmware, embedded systems, Linux platforms, device drivers, and application software.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Perform hardware-software integration testing and system validation.
- Develop automated CI/CD validation pipelines and support continuous testing efforts.
- Execute stress, reliability, performance, and scalability testing.
- Create and maintain test reports, validation metrics, and quality dashboards.
- Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and risk assessments to ensure testability.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and development processes.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software, firmware, embedded, or platform validation.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience in test case development, defect tracking, and test management.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with automation frameworks and test execution tools.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line environments.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience validating Embedded Linux, firmware, and device drivers.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, and PCIe.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Robot Framework, PyTest, Selenium, or custom automation frameworks.
- Experience with performance, stress, and reliability testing.
- Exposure to virtualization and container technologies such as Docker.
