Job Requirements

Sales & Business Development

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Appoint new dealers and distributors to expand market reach.
Identify potential business opportunities and develop new markets.
Promote company products and increase market penetration.

Dealer & Distributor Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and distributors.
Monitor distributor performance and provide necessary support.
Ensure adequate stock availability and inventory management at distributor locations.
Resolve channel partner concerns and service-related issues promptly.

Market Development

Conduct regular market visits and customer meetings.
Analyze competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
Implement promotional schemes, product launches, and marketing campaigns.
Increase product visibility and brand presence in the market.

Order & Collection Management

Generate orders from dealers and distributors.
Follow up on payments and ensure timely collections.
Monitor outstanding receivables and maintain healthy financial controls.

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
Track sales performance against targets.
Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to management.
Forecast sales and demand within the assigned territory.

Work Experience

Required Skills

Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with dealers, distributors, and key customers.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Market analysis and competitor tracking capability.
Territory management and market development expertise.
Inventory and supply chain coordination knowledge.
Collection and receivables management skills.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and sales reporting systems.
Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories.

Required Experience

4-6 years of experience in Channel Sales, Dealer Sales, Distributor Management, or Territory Sales.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Experience in appointing and managing dealers/distributors.
Hands-on experience in market expansion and channel development.
Experience in handling order generation, collections, and secondary sales.
Knowledge of retail market dynamics and competitor activities.
Preferred experience in industries such as:
FMCG
Consumer Durables
Optical Industry
