Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, automate, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly reliable cloud infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure automation. The role will focus on building and managing modern cloud platforms, implementing comprehensive observability solutions, strengthening DevSecOps practices, and optimizing cloud infrastructure costs.
The candidate will work closely with development, security, architecture, and operations teams to ensure applications and infrastructure meet organizational standards for security, reliability, performance, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure primarily on Azure.
- Manage and administer Kubernetes environments, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Build reusable, modular, and secure Terraform configurations for cloud infrastructure provisioning.
- Automate infrastructure deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management.
- Design and manage virtual networks, compute, storage, identity, containers, and other cloud services.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Implement automated deployment and release processes across development, testing, and production environments.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive observability and monitoring solutions using Datadog, Prometheus, or similar platforms.
- Automate the deployment of Datadog monitors, dashboards, alerts, and observability configurations using Terraform.
- Monitor infrastructure health, application performance, availability, and resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, Kubernetes, and production issues.
- Implement cloud security controls and ensure infrastructure complies with organizational security standards.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement DevSecOps practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Implement automated security scanning, vulnerability management, policy enforcement, and compliance validation within CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement and maintain GitOps-based deployment practices where appropriate.
- Monitor cloud usage and costs and identify opportunities for cloud cost optimization.
- Apply FinOps principles to improve cloud resource utilization and reduce unnecessary expenditure.
- Design resilient cloud platforms with appropriate backup, disaster recovery, reliability, and business continuity strategies.
- Define and support Service-Level Objectives (SLOs) and reliability engineering practices.
- Participate in architecture reviews, infrastructure planning, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, improve engineering productivity, and drive continuous improvement.
- Document infrastructure architecture, deployment procedures, operational processes, and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- 3+ years of experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Good understanding of Azure virtual networking, compute, storage, identity, and cloud infrastructure services.
- 3+ years of experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure automation and deployment best practices.
- Experience troubleshooting production infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of security, reliability, scalability, and high-availability principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing and managing Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar observability platforms.
- Experience automating monitoring infrastructure, dashboards, alerts, and monitors using Terraform.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks, including:
- SOC 2
- HIPAA
- ISO 27001
- Experience implementing cloud security controls and compliance automation.
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies.
- Experience implementing GitOps practices using Argo CD, Flux, or similar tools.
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps, including:
- Automated security scanning
- Policy as Code
- Vulnerability management

- Security gates in CI/CD pipelines
- Experience designing highly resilient cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery, backup strategies, high availability, fault tolerance, and SLOs.

- Experience working in regulated environments such as healthcare, financial services, or other compliance-driven industries.
- Experience with multiple cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
